The Memphis Songwriters Association is our featured guests on Juke N' Jamm during the two o'clock hour. Several MSA members will perform live on the air as well as share their experiences & thoughts with songwriting and the Memphis Songwriters Association. Nancy Apple of Ringo Records will be making a special appearance along with Louis Meyers who is the executive director of the Folk Alliance. And, it just so happens Mr. Meyers plays banjo for the Tennessee Boltsmokers. So, this Saturday's show should be an very interesting, informative, and entertaining show.
For one who is currently a songwriter, amateur or professional, the Memphis Songwriters Association is a great organization to become involved with. MSA is always looking for new, fresh faces and anyone interested can become a member at any time. MSA meetings are a great opportunity to network with other songwriters from the Midsouth area. The Memphis Songwriters Association meet on a quarterly basis with guest speakers, have monthly open mic sessions, and workshops throughout the year to help improve the songwriter's craft.

BIG JAM SHOW FOR HOPE WORKS
Sycamore View Church of Christ in Memphis located at 1910 Sycamore View will be having a big fundraiser show on Saturday, April 28th benefiting the Hope Works Inner City Ministry. Live music featuring Crossway Worship Band, N.C.O. Band, and the bluegrass group, David Ray. Food and childcare is available. Show starts at 6:30pm and admission is free. The Mississippi Chapters of the Southern Cruisers Riding Club is hosting its 3rd annual Mississippi State Bikers Rally “Battle For The Cure” May 4th, 5th, and 6th in Corinth, MS. This year’s event will be held at Comfort Inn of Corinth and all proceeds benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. A fashion show, scenic rides, beer booths provided by Budweiser, lots of food & BBQ, and much more. On Friday evening, May 4th, music headliners at the “Country Hoedown” are Memphis-own COWBOY BOB & THE BOUNTYHUNTERS performing on the main stage from 9pm to midnight or later. Saturday evening is dinner at 6pm followed by the “Leather & Lace Ball” with local band SAVING ABEL performing live music starting at 9pm.

VIRGINIA TECH BENEFIT TONIGHT AT FOX & HOUND
Today, the Fox and Hound English Pub & Grill in Cordova will be holding a benefit to raise funds for the Virginia Tech Foundation and Family Fund. This fund has been established to offer services to students & families of students directly affected by the Virginia Tech shooting. From 6:00pm to 8:00pm, the Fox & Hound bartenders will donate a percentage of their tips earned to the Virginia Tech fund. All those who donate during this benefit will be entered into several raffles for prizes to be given away tonight. Formed in May 1986, the Bluebirds from Shreveport, Louisiana have been together for 21 years. They've taken their rock n' roll/blues/swamp rock/R&B sound nationally and overseas, performed at sold-out venues throughout the world, and are played on XM, SIRIUS, satellite, and cable music stations.
